Community Impact: How We Serve Dallas

The Junior League of Dallas is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Our community service model reflects our deep commitment to serving Dallas in ways that are impactful, sustainable, and responsive to community needs.

We are committed to improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Each year, we proudly partner with a wide range of nonprofit organizations across Dallas, providing both financial grants and thousands of hours of volunteer service through our Community and Signature Projects programs.

Annual Community Impact

In our broader Community Program, we annually review Community Program Project Requests through our Research & Development (R&D) Committee to identify nonprofit partners aligned with our mission and impact areas. Selected Community Agency Partners receive both volunteer hours and grant allotments, funded by our Community Service Fund.

Our Signature Projects also receive both volunteer hours and grant allotments funded by our Community Service Fund.

We also offer volunteer support for one-time projects to Dallas nonprofits through our Done in a Day program. Applications for Done in a Day are reviewed on a quarterly basis.

  • Community Program: Annual agency collaborations providing strategic volunteer support and financial resources.
  • Signature Projects: JLD-initiated programs that address unmet needs through sustained leadership and innovation.
  • One-time Volunteer & Emergency Funding Support: Flexible volunteer and funding streams to respond to immediate or one-time needs and invest in long-term change.
