President’s Note

Dear Members,

Welcome to the 105th year of the Junior League of Dallas. It is an incredible joy and honor to serve as your President as we begin this exciting new League year together.

Before we look ahead, I want to celebrate the extraordinary work of the 2025 – 2026 League year. Under Lindsay Davis’s thoughtful and inspiring leadership, and through the dedication of the entire 104th leadership team, our League strengthened its impact, deepened member connection, and built meaningful momentum for the future. Their leadership – alongside the shared passion and collective commitment of all of you, our members – leaves us well-positioned for all that lies ahead, and we are deeply grateful for the care, vision, and heart they brought to our League.

With so much to celebrate from the past year and even more to look forward to, the theme guiding us through our 105th year is Shine Bright.

To me, Shine Bright is about recognizing the unique gifts, talents, perspectives, and experiences each one of you brings to the Junior League of Dallas – and creating opportunities for your gifts to flourish. Whether you are new to the League or have been here for decades, I hope this year inspires you to fully embrace all the League has to offer: meaningful friendships, impactful service, leadership opportunities, personal and professional growth, and the sense of purpose that comes from being part of something bigger than ourselves.

Because when each member shines in her own way, our League shines brighter together.

As we complete the fifth and final year of our strategic plan, your Board of Directors and Leadership Council remain committed to bringing this 105th chapter to life in authentic, engaging, and member-centered ways. This year also presents an exciting opportunity to begin shaping the future vision of the Junior League of Dallas through the development of our next strategic plan.

That means nurturing a League where every woman feels welcomed, valued, connected, and inspired.

It means strengthening our impact through purposeful partnerships and expanding the ways we support Dallas with intention and compassion.

And it means continuing to reimagine training and leadership development so members can grow with confidence, unlock new possibilities, and lead both within and beyond the League.

Our goals are ambitious and aspirational, but we have never been afraid to dream boldly, blaze a new trail, or gather intentionally in service of something greater than ourselves.

The Junior League of Dallas is strongest when every member feels empowered to participate, contribute, and lead. When we come together with purpose, there is no limit to how high we can rise for our members, our League, and our community.

So, as we begin this new League year, I invite you to Shine Bright – with confidence, with purpose, and with one another.

Together, let’s make this our brightest year yet!
